So - Another Easter has come and gone... Only this year, Christian was big enough to participate in the festivities.
Easter weekend was full of Easter Egg hunts. We had one on Saturday and two on Sunday. Christian won a "special prize" at the Westminster Egg Hunt... It was just a stuff duck (that they sold prior to the hunt), but none the less, he won :) He got to sit in a Police Car and "drive". He loved the lights, and all the officers that were there, helped him and were so nice. He saw Goats, up close and personal, in the "hay ring" (bails of hay in a circle). They kept trying to eat his jacket, but he didn't care. He laughed hysterically.
On Sunday, we took him to Clark Elioak Farm, where he participated in the Egg Hunt and played afterwards. He really loved the petting zoo and couldn't get enough of the Goats and the Chickens (they ran from him). Afterwards, we headed out for dinner, then had a Easter Egg hunt at Mom Mom's house just for him! He was so cute - and so excited. He got lots of stuff from the Easter Bunny and some really cool things from Mom Mom.
When asked about Easter, there is some babble and a few words we don't really understand, but just when you don't think he knows, you hear "Jesus" and he points to his heart. I just love him so much.
