Happy Halloween!!!

I have seriously lagged when it comes to blogging! This month has been busy, busy, busy. And very hectic. Our weekends were mostly filled with Pumpkin Patches and football with friends!

For Halloween, Christian was a green Dinosaur. He even had the RAWR! down pat. We took him truck or treating at my Mom's house in Sykesville. We walked with her neighbors and their little boy, Logan. At first, Christian was not really getting the idea of "Trick or Treating" - all he wanted to do was drive Pop Pop's car. After a few minutes, we convinced him to give it a try and that was all it took!
He was running to keep up with Logan, saying "Trick or Treat" and "Please and Thank you" at every house. He did a great job walking and keeping up with Logan. We only had one embarrassing moment....

We went up to this one house, and we knocked on the door. Logan got his treat before us, then it was our turn. Christian says "Trick or Treat, Candy", and she put an activity book in his bucket - well, he pulled it out, looked at it for a second and threw it back into the house. I was speechless. I reached into the doorway, (it was right in the middle of the foyer floor!), and explained to him that those were games we could play when we got home and I put it back in his bucket. He started to go for it again, so I quickly said thank you, took his bucket, and walked him away! I couldn't help but giggle quietly to myself.

We were out for about an hour, and then he said "Done, I done" and literally started running up the street towards Mom Mom and Pop Pop's. Secretly, I was happy. It was alot dictating every step of the way :) I know, I know, He is 2! He had a great time, and we really did, too! He got to spend the night at Mom Mom's so he was REALLY happy :)

I hope everyone had a safe Halloween!
